Niacin (Vitamin B3)

20 mg · 125% DV

Among the most thoroughly researched vitamins on this panel, with a long history in lipid metabolism and cellular energy. All tissues convert absorbed niacin into NAD, the coenzyme that drives energy release from food. Deficiency causes pellagra; adequacy is straightforward to reach through diet.

At 125% DV this stacks with any multivitamin or B-complex you take. Higher niacin intakes can cause flushing, and much larger doses have been linked to liver effects — add up your total across everything you take.

Zinc

11 mg · as zinc oxide

An essential mineral involved in immune function, wound healing and hormone metabolism including testosterone synthesis. Deficiency has been linked at population level to lower testosterone; supplementation in men who are not deficient shows much more mixed results.

Per the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements, zinc oxide absorbs at roughly 50%, against about 61% for zinc citrate or gluconate. Long-term high-dose zinc can interfere with copper absorption.

L-Citrulline

Inside 570 mg blend

A non-essential amino acid and precursor to nitric oxide. The body converts it to arginine, mainly in the kidneys, and oral citrulline raises arginine levels more effectively than oral arginine does. The best-developed circulation mechanism in this formula.

Published research typically uses doses measured in grams. A 570 mg blend shared across six ingredients cannot deliver anything close to that, and the actual amount is not stated.

L-Carnitine

Inside 570 mg blend

Transports fatty acids into cells to be used as fuel, which is why it appears throughout energy and exercise-performance research. A well-characterised mechanism with a substantial literature.

Pine Bark Extract

Inside 570 mg blend

From Pinus pinaster, supplying proanthocyanidins studied for antioxidant activity and circulatory support. A common inclusion in this category.

The label does not specify a standardised branded extract, which matters for how consistent the active compound content is between batches.

Maca Root Extract

Inside 570 mg blend

A Peruvian root with long traditional use and a growing set of small human trials on mood, energy and general vitality. The evidence is real but consists mostly of small studies with mixed rather than consistent results.

Grape Skin Extract

Inside 570 mg blend

A source of resveratrol and related polyphenols, studied for cardiovascular and antioxidant effects. Worth knowing that human resveratrol research has been considerably harder to replicate than early laboratory work implied.

Saffron Stigmas Extract

Inside 570 mg blend

From Crocus sativus, with a research base focused mainly on mood support and a smaller body of work on broader wellness outcomes. One of the most expensive botanicals by weight, which is generally why it appears in small quantities.
